The powerful preacher who was born on September 27, 1954, is about the most respected gentleman of the cloak in the country today. The Presiding Pastor of Faith Tabernacle has touched many lives through various means including education, health care, SMEs and other ventures. He is the founder of one of Nigeria’s foremost private universities, Covenant University.

Kanye West Goes Off On Jimmy Kimmel On Twitter: “You’re A Manipulative Media Mutherfucker”

Kanye West’s feud with show host Jimmy Kimmel continues following Kimmel’s recent mocking of Ye’s BBC interview.

The notoriously hot headed rapper ranted on Twitter about a skit from Kimmel’s show earlier in the week, which mocked a strange interview West did with BBC Radio 1.

The comedian played a clip on his show in which children read a transcript of West’s BBC interview, and it seems the rapper had a rather childish response.

Kimmel’s monologue Thursday night was devoted to discussing what he called a “very angry phone call” he received from West about an hour and a half before taping ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Kimmel said that West called to complain about a the comedy skit. According to Kimmel, West told him to apologize publicly and that his life would be better if he did.

Kimmel then cited tweets posted Thursday on West’s official Twitter site that forcefully take Kimmel to task, some using profanity.

In a recent interview, EME honcho Banky W talked about his personal life, his opinion on the Forbes list and much more.

Excerpts from the interview below.

What have you been up to recently?
I’ve been working hard, pretty much. On the music side, I’ve been working on collaborations with different artistes. I’ve recently completed really good songs for Black Magic, Sarkodie, MoCheddah, Lynxxx, Ketchup, Victoria Kimani and Vector. Internally (within EME), I’m contributing to Wizkid’s album, as well as projects for Skales, ShayDee and Niyola. Outside of all this, I’ve been giving speeches at various events, as well as working on a couple of potentially great movie projects.

Is Banky in a relationship?
Not at the moment.

Tell us something no one knows about you.
I’m not sure how many people know this, but I shave my head and shape my beard myself. I’m my own barber. I’ve been doing it for years. It started when I was in University and didn’t have a lot of money, I learnt to maintain it myself so I didn’t need to spend money on it every week. And now I’m good at it so I’m my own barber. I will probably open a barbershop at some point.

Coming up at the 10th position of the Forbes rating, how did you feel?
I don’t believe very much in such things. Let’s be honest, the real wealthy people are the businessmen like Dangote and the politicians (some of whom got there by looting Nigeria). They’re the ones with real money. This entertainment business is too much hype. It is more fame than fortune. So I’m not thrilled to it and I don’t think any of us should buy into it too much. I’d rather be wealthy and quiet than famous and broke.

What is your normal day like?
I try to pray but I definitely need to do a better job at that. At least three or four times a week, I try to put in work-out sessions with my personal trainer. After that it’s a mix of things; meetings, press obligations, social outings and performances or appearances that I’m booked to make.

How did you manage having a scandal free reputation?
I’d say probably the same reasons I stated above, plus, I carry myself the way I want people to see me and treat me. I’m no saint; trust me, not at all. But I am careful about how much I leave out there because people will use any and everything possible against you to bring you down.

How do you relax?
I try to sneak into the movie theatres occasionally, I hang out with friends and family, I read novels, and I love to travel and just go to places where less people know me so I can walk around and chill.

You like hats a lot, why?
I have stopped wearing them a lot because people make too much of a big deal about it; my last CD cover, I went without it, and I do that a lot more these days. However, I really do like hats, and I think they add to my styling and make me stand out from the crowd.

Full Details On Rihanna Beef

You might (or might not) have known about the social media beef Rihanna had with another artist Teyana Taylor who’s under Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music but the details are so juicy that I decided to share with you. It seems Twitter has increased the amount of beef we have in our atmosphere these days. It all started like this:

Just a few weeks ago Taylor posted a video of herself singing Anita Baker’s hit “Caught In The Rapture”

Rihanna later shared a vid on Instagram of her hairstylist Yusef dressed like Taylor while wailing out the track. (see vid below)

After fans alerted Taylor of the diss, the G.O.O.D. Music singer went on a rant on Rihanna’s Instagram before taking her beef to own her page. by posting this picture

I think that’s when the beef migrated to the grand arena – twitter. And Teyana was fed up of being indirect. So I will unravel the whole timeline from there. It should be pretty easy to follow. Grab your popcorn too by the way.

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has said she turned to Beyonce’s mother when she was debating a boob job – and decided to wait ten years because of her advice.

The singer has revealed her former Destiny’s Child band mate’s mum played a big role in advising her to wait until she was absolutely sure before having surgery to enlarge her breasts – and she ended up waiting a decade. Speaking to Shape magazine, she said: ‘I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyoncé’s mom told me to really think about it first. I took their advice and waited 10 years.’

To make sure she was completely comfortable with how her body ‘would feel‘, the ‘X Factor’ USA judge wore padded bras to get an idea of how she’d be after the surgery. She added: ‘Once I felt ready, I tried on padded bras and walked around in them to see how it would feel.

‘You have to know what you’re getting, no matter what type of surgery it is.’ Kelly wasn’t the only member of the former trio – completed by Michelle Williams – to have worries about her body. Earlier this year, Michelle revealed while she was ‘trying to gain weight‘, Beyoncé thought her thighs were ‘too big‘.

She recently said: ‘On the outside, we were poised and smiling. But behind the scenes we had issues. ’I was trying to gain weight, and meanwhile Beyoncé would say, ‘I think my thighs are too big.’

During his monologue on his show last night, Jimmy Kimmel addressed Kanye's Twitter rant.
He said:

"Quick question. Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK, I didn't know if he was mad at all of us. He told me I had two choices: apologize publicly...and that was really the only choice!. The other choice he gave was that my life—'Your life, is going to be much better if you apologize.' Then he started tweeting today and I don't even know if I've seen some of these tweets, because they're happening as we speak..."

Then Jimmy started going through Kanye's tweets and addressed the f--king Ben Affleck tweet

"Which, by the way, was a spoof," Jimmy reminded everyone. "I don't know if he thought that was news." Noting the use of the hash tags "#nodisrespecttobenaffleck" and "#alldisrespecttojimmy kimmel," he cracked, "A lot of hash in those tags."

"And he told me this on the phone, I swear, he said, 'I am the most powerful voice in media. I am 'Pac! He said 'I am 'Pac' a few times to me. He said, 'You'll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old's high school football game and be cool again.'

"He really is 'Pac," Jimmy said, smiling but looking a bit baffled. "That's right out of the Tupac playbook, isn't it?"

"I don't understand it, I don't know why he's angry again. I thought the bit was pretty innocuous. Finally I'm in a rap feud."
